Full disclosure – I am not green-fingered

I love the outdoors and have tried hard to keep outdoor plants alive, so last year when so much more time at home I decided I would try not to kill a few indoor plants too.

I live in a dark north facing victorian terrace with hardly any windowsills. So with a wee bit of research, I found some shade loving indoor plants. As you can see these babies have been to the edge and are making their way back.

Of course with plants comes planters, so I made a few for myself and you guys said me too!

Sarah McKenna

Sarah McKenna has been developing her unique handmade Irish pottery at Bridge Street Studios since 1999. Before returning to Dundalk she studied Ceramics at Duncan of Jordonstone College of Art & Design, the University of Dundee, Scotland where she gained a Bachelor of Ceramic Design.

Sarah’s work has always been engaged in the process and the early studio work was concerned with smoke firing and raku firing sculptural vessel forms. In 2006 Sarah started producing a range of quirky customisable ceramics giftware which is the beginning of what you can purchase today. Read more here.
