Louth Craftmark outdoor “Summer Fair” coming to Dundalk town centre this August, as part of the Fringe programme of the SEEK Contemporary Urban Arts Festival
Louth Craftmark is holding a highly anticipated outdoor Summer Fair on the newly created Street Plaza on Dundalk’s Church Street. The Summer Fair will be taking place on Saturday 7th August, from 10 am to 5 pm. Featuring a host of professional designers and makers, the fair will have an eclectic array of tempting art, gifts and high-quality crafts. The Summer Fair is part of the Fringe Programme of the SEEK Contemporary Urban Arts Festival and is sure to be a buzzing vibrant addition to the town centre for August Craft Month.
Founded in 2006, Louth Craftmark Designers Network is a collective of talented North East based artists, craftspeople and designers, who have come together to promote and support each other.
The Summer Fair will comprise of 13 artists showcasing their beautiful work, representing various creative disciplines including ceramics, textiles, clothing, tableware, handmade soaps, glass gifts, painting and prints. There will be something for everyone’s taste at the Summer Fair; where visitors can treat themselves to something special or buy a gift for a loved one, near or far.
Louth Craftmark is well known for its very successful annual Winter Fair, and the artists are delighted to be in a position to hold this event for the first time, especially after a very tough year. The spacious layout of the Street Plaza will give visitors ample room to peruse the stalls and see the wonderful art and crafts on offer. All current government guidelines will be strictly adhered to.
