Usually my scout camps are in quite obscure parts of the country – up the mountains and the likes!
This year I’ve managed to catch quite a few fun shops on my scouting journey!
In July we Portlick campsite is just outside Glasson the Village of the Roses, so popped down to see Stephen in the Glasson Gallery
Stephen is a skilled woodworker and you can tell he has a strong love of material in all the pieces he has chosen for his shop.
Glasson Gallery has something for everyone, from beautifully finished traditional Irish crafts for the American and European tourists to the stylish contemporary art and gift pieces for the local customers who travel to this destination shop to buy there wedding and birthday gifts.
Stephen also provides bespoke picture framing service, so you can pick out a print and select a frame to suit your own tastes.
